Our history

The first paragliding flights in Armenia were conducted by “Armenia’s small aviation club” in 1996.

Two years later, the club had a school. Trainings were organized for novices who wished to fly paraglider. The first paragliding competition was organized within the club members.

Very recently, Harutyun Atshemyan (club's instructor and leader from 2004 and a professional XC pilot) and Tigran Ayvazyan (a talented acro/xc pilot and instructor), renamed the club as Aero Club and are now managing it. The members, instructors, equipment and etc, obviously remain the same.
